About Me:

I started working for William Penn University-College for Working Adults in 2011. Before coming to William Penn University, I was a Junior High At-Risk Teacher for 11 years in Northeast Iowa. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Wartburg College with Endorsements in Early Childhood and Middle School. I am also completing my Master of Education too.

I have a passion for education and helping all students reach their goals. I love being able to help students realize the value of education and the opportunities education creates.

Being a non-tradtional student myself helps me to realize the challenges and balancing act of family, work, and school. I feel this experience helps me to work with students to overcome the obstacles holding them back. Being married, a mother of two children, and working full-time makes me empathize with students juggling the same things I am.
